Born in 2016, Sorelle London Academy opened its doors for the first time and immediately made an impact setting the tone to becoming one of the most successful, young and current theatre schools on the market.

Sorelle Academy is founded by sisters Rachel and Jessica Simmons, who both have a collective passion for performing arts. They share an array of professional experiences from West End musicals, European Tours, Cruise Ships, Television and Commercials.

Since both graduating from the prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, the duo wish to pass on their knowledge of show business to young stars who are looking to learn and expand their craft in the performing arts industry.

SLA teaches children from 3-16 years in all aspects of performing arts from Jazz, Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Acting and Singing.

Sorelle offers one on one private coaching along with annual performances in theatres, Holiday clubs and workshops with casting directors and well known choreographers.

SLA prides itself on giving the children professional, enjoyable training and a place where they will build great friendships and make memories to last a lifetime.


Rachel Simmons

School Director

Rachel founded Sorelle London Academy in 2016.

Rachel trained at The Italia Conti Academy in all aspects of Performing Arts.

Since graduating Rachel has gained a wealth of experience in the performing arts industry mainly working in TV, Theatre, Commercials and Music as well as gaining over ten years teaching experience in Dance, Drama and Singing for various Performing Arts schools, Colleges and Schools in and around London.

Rachel’s Theatre Credits Include: – Lead Vocalist –“Musical Star Nights” – World Wide Events – European Tour, Lead Vocalist, “Costa Magica Cruise line” – Costa Cruises , Dancer – Pantomime -“Aladdin” starring Antony Costa (Blue) – Qdos Entertainment – Dancer – Pantomime- “Snow White” – Courtyard Theatre Group.

Her most recent TV credits include –Opening Dance Act, “Celebrity Big Brother” –Channel 5 -Endemol UK TV, Dancer- “Big Brothers Bit on The Side” –Channel 5 –Endemol UK TV, Dancer for hit single Mambo No. 5’s Lou Bega –“A League of Their Own” –SKY TV along with appearing earlier that year on the same show with David Walliams as a Show Girl. Dance Artist with Jimmy Carr “8 out 10 Cats does Countdown” – Channel 4 TV, Dancer “Let’s Dance For Sport Relief”-BBC.

Rachel was chosen as a contestant for Sky Livings hit Dance show “Dirty Dancing -The Time Of Your Life, where she was flown to America to the original Dirty Dancing set to compete for a dance contract in LA.

Rachel was signed to METROPOLIS Records with a four piece girl band called “Rogue”

They released “Girls Anthem” which went to number 30 in the UK download charts and performed many gigs and festivals around the UK.


Rachel has taught for many years and is extremely passionate about passing on her knowledge and experience of the business to young aspiring stars at Sorelle Academy.

Jessica Simmons

School Director

Jessica founded Sorelle London Academy in 2016.

Jessica trained at The Italia Conti Academy in all aspects of Performing Arts since graduating has gained an abundance of experience most recently finishing her debut in the hit musical “The Bodyguard.” 

Jessica’s theatre credits include performing at the Sadler’s Wells in the original cast “Ishq”. “Jingle Bell Ball” and “Classical Spectacular” At the Royal Albert Hall, “Aladdin” performed at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, “Cinderella” performed at the Towngate theatre Basildon and most recently finishingher role as Dance Captain in “Aladdin” for Qdos at Northampton’s theatre Royal & Derngate. 

Jessica has performed and choreographed for many popular TV shows such as ‘Big Brother’ ‘Lets Dance Sport Relief ‘ ‘League of their own’ ‘8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown’ and performed alongside popular artists such as Jessie J, Snoop Dog , David Walliams and Christopher Biggins.
Jessica flew to Abu Dhabi to open the Grand Prix fashion show and has performed for many other fashion events such as L’Oreal, Miss Universe Great Britain, Firetrap, Celebrity Boutique and Boux Avenue.

Jessica has taught at various schools for many years and loves bring a part of Sorelle Academy. Teaching has always been Jessica’s passion and she cannot wait to pass on her knowledge and experience to the students at Sorelle Academy.

Evelyn Shaw

Acting Teacher

Evelyn is originally from Co Kildare, Ireland. She trained on the MA Musical Theatre course at Guildford School of Acting, gaining an MA, having initially studied Drama Studies and English Literature at Trinity College Dublin.

Theatre credits include Colette in Uprising (Smashing Times, Project Cube Dublin), Little Red in Red Riding Hood the Musical (Talisman Theatre, Irish tour), Red in Red Riding Hood’s Dangerous Christmas Adventure (Mill Theatre, Dublin), Lydia Bennet in Pride and Prejudice and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Chapterhouse Theatre, UK / Ireland tour), Mrs Barn Owl in The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark (Blunderbus Theatre, UK tour and DUCTAC Theatre, Dubai), Helen in Testimonies (Smashing Times, Smock Alley Theatre Dublin), Louise / Colette in Glamour Girl (Quill and Inkling, Maltings Arts Theatre St Albans), Princess Twinkletoes in Jack and the Beanstalk, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Miss Spider in James and the Giant Peach and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin (all at the Mill Theatre, Dublin). Screen credits include the short film ‘The Ladies’ and TV commercials for McDonalds and Aldi Ireland.

Evelyn has a wealth of experience working with children and young adults, and has been teaching drama for ten years at stage schools and performing arts academies in the UK and Ireland. She also facilitates drama and dance workshops for people with disabilities, and runs a series of performing arts camps in Ireland called Summer Stage. Evelyn is passionate about providing creative, energetic lessons which allow children to blossom at their own pace, and aims to teach children about performing arts while they have fun and build confidence.

Stefania Morosini 

Singing Teacher

Stefania is a music educator and professional singer with wide performing and teaching experience throughout the UK and Europe.
She has been teaching all ages and levels, from preparing students for grades and auditions, to directing choirs and ensembles and working closely with hospitals and care homes running music workshops.

Alongside teaching, Stefania is a very active vocalist; from performances in major festivals, cruise ships, private events, providing backing vocals for tv shows and various artists and touring with gospel choirs, she has developed a great versatility in many genres.
Highlights of her career include working with artists such as Lukas Graham and Alexandra Burke, singing on BBC radio, providing backing vocals on XFactor, appearing in West End Live, Olivier Awards, London Jazz Festival and recently on Sky 1’s tv show ‘Sing:Ultimate Acappella’, to only name a few. She had the chance to sing at some of the most iconic venues in the country, including Wembley Arena, London Palladium, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Hideaway Jazz Club and Union Chapel.

Stefania is passionate about inspiring and engaging the younger generation with the art of singing, helping them to grasp the enjoyment and the life changing effects that singing brings to their physical and emotional health.
